I have been a huge fan of the animated series, and I can say the comics have not disappointed. In fact, they’re incredible! This whole series is INCREDIBLE. I am still in awe of how much this comic was able to accomplish and all that has happened to these characters. It is insane. INSANE. Graphic and gory and violent and heartwarming and heartbreaking and just wild.
It’s hard to compare each compendium, they’re each over 1000 pages, but this was phenomenal and I was completely invested from beginning to end. The art quality ranges from outstanding to.. okay, and the ending.. everything happens so quick. Too quick for me, personally. I wish it had more room for all the events to breathe. But eh, I was still left satisfied and grateful to be able to experience this entire journey with these amazing characters.
Graphic: Death, Gore, Rape, Violence, Blood, Murder, and War
