I started reading this to help my high schooler with her homework and was hooked. Such an interesting concept with a host of hateable characters and some deep themes.
But then it takes a hard left turn - and the last 100 pages, while also interesting, feel like a whole different book. The resolution at the end feels rushed and a little too happily ever after for a story so full of injustices.
