Pretty Face by Lucy Parker

I was loving this book for the chemistry between Lily and Luc and then this happened:
“’I say this as someone who would probably rescue her books first if
the flat burnt down and then come back for you, but you may not need
eight books for one weekend,’ …Lily slapped a hand down on a teetering
pile of books before it collapsed. ‘This is the third edit. I’ve already
weeded it down from fifteen.’”
I then knew that Lily was a soulmate and I was fully invested in this novel. I had a great time watching Luc and Lily and the books work things out.
