Judgment Road by Christine Feehan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.

Further exploring Urban Fantasy, I decided to have a further look into this series by Christine Feehan. This story is biker culture where  the male dominates the female but also keeps her and her children safe, it comes with Russian cult origins and a male main character who has been so badly violated that he cannot let himself feel anything and definitely not love anyone.
Now at 40 per cent in, I feel more and more that the male ownership trope just does not work for me and the story doesn't offer anything else as more women being threatened by/with male violence just because they are with whom they are with at this time.
Feel somewhat bored and slightly disappointed.
