This is a great book to teach not only colors but about sea creatures, as well. My only complaint was the short length, but that's also to appease the young age group. I liked the artwork--a black background to let the colors pop. It reminds me of a simplistic graphic design, something pleasing to the eye that doesn't over-stimulate you. I can easily find the animals in their environment. It would be a great book for kids who like basic colors and need simple, almost paper cut-out designs.
