5.0

I've been craving more Wonder Woman lately, because of Dawn of Justice, and this book was exactly the right one to pick up. It's a collection of one-shot adventures, each with a different team attached to it. There are stories from all over Wonder Woman's storyline, so it provides a really good look at who she is as a character.

My favourites in the collection are the first story about Wonder Woman taking on the villains of Gotham, written by the wonderful Gail Simone (it was because of this story that I discovered this collection in the first place). I also loved Jason Bischoff's story about how Diana earned her vanbraces, and Ollie Masters' story was hilarious (and perfectly matched by Amy Mebberson's art), plus had the bonus of featuring Catwoman, who is one of my favourite DC characters. Also, kudos to Maguerite Sauvage for her art in Bullets and Braceletts - I'm not quite sure why Diana is a rock star in this story but I love her character design so much, it made me want to cosplay it.

This is a great introduction to Diana and aspects of her mythology and a must read for any Wonder Woman fans out there.
