Aaaaah! I really never knew that books could have the exact same effect as some of my favorite series have on me! But, these books, this series, it totally has it. Part after part it keeps on delivering. It keeps on expanding the rich world. It keeps on expanding on the politics. It keeps on introducing new amazing and exciting characters and more and more layers.

My love for Raolcan and Amel is endless. I've given them a huge place in my heart and it seems they're not gonna leave any time soon. Raolcan is funny, smart, caring and loyal. Amel is more and more become the person she can be, even though she's stuck in the middle of situations and worlds where she shouldn't have been and where she didn't want to be.

And part after part this book keeps on proving how great it is when it comes to disability representation. I love it how the writer is so aware of the impact Amel's disability on her life. I love how she comes up with all those small details and I'm so excited that we really get the chance to see her grow into a hero, but without forgetting that she is crippled and has trouble walking.

What I also really loved in this part is that Amel is not all of a sudden a great fighter. We got the promise that she will be taught how to fight, but she couldn't just do it. I can't wait to see how awesome Amel will be once she has learned how to master a sword. To me she already is a hero. I hope she can prove her world that she is one too!

I can't wait for March 12th!
