A Guide to Living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (Hypermobility Type): Bending Without Breaking
by Isobel Knight, Alan J. Hakim
I didn’t rate this book because it didn’t seem fair to penalize it for not being what I was looking for, but at the same time, it really wasn’t what I wanted. Unfortunately, it is the only book on hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos syndrome that my library has.
This is one woman’s story of her experiences. She does share various tips/therapies that have helped her (and others), but odds are if you are experiencing chronic pain, you’ve already tried them (physio, massage etc.). I imagine this book would be of great comfort to someone who has been suffering alone, but if you’re looking for something a little more research based, you’ll probably want to give this one a pass.
