Method
by Kate Stewart
4.25 stars. Kate Stewart does it again and blows me away. This was beautiful and heartbreaking. I know “Method” is a fictional book, but you could’ve fooled me. These characters FELT. SO. REAL.
And the way this novel was structured was ingenious. I loved seeing the couple years down the road in their marriage but also catching glimpses of their love in its first stages. I have never read a romance centered around a married couple, but wow this was good. Now I want to pick up more marriage romances.
I also loved getting a behind the scenes look into the potential lives of actors and their families and the experiences they have in and out of the business. That’s what I love about books - getting to be a part of a life you never would’ve been exposed to otherwise, and I LOVED THIS. It really made me think a lot about Hollywood and celebrity culture.
