Short book and very poetic. I found it to be an eye opener to some of the systematic issues that have haunted people for generations. It is sad to know that people moved from the South to find refuge and freedom and ended up finding pain and suffering.

The whole reason this book was so important to make should be eye opening as well. Not much has changed.

I for one enjoyed the poetic offerings this book has as it puts a very real emotion to people’s stories.
