I enjoyed the book and found it to be a very interesting MLM story. For one I am glad the character just gay but a gay man and a bi man getting together instead. In many queer MLM stories I have read it was always "one gay and one straight but I am in love a man" scenario or a "gay and straight but I like this dude so I guess I am gay" scenario. Another thing about this book that was different from my norm was that it was a hockey story, the last hockey MLM story I read of on Wattpad and something I had to eventually drop because the author decide to use a racial slur and not even censor it in the story. Gabriel and Dante's story was your generic MLM drama so in my opinion don't expect something super shocking in the off chance that some scenes play out the way you expect them to. However that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the book. Gabe and Dante were cute together and honestly Gabe's struggles with keeping his sexuality a secret were just as painful to read as any other forced outing MLM story. It had some extra oomph thanks to the fact both are super talented Hockey stars because as well all know sports and LGBTQ+ never full mix thanks to homophobia and misogyny. One other part about this story I liked was that you got to enjoyed just not Gabe and Dante but the other players on the team as well. They all had their own personalities that I honestly found to be very loveable. My favorite is a tie Flash and Olie in all honesty. I really enjoyed this read and hope to find others like it.
