Graduation Day
by Joelle Charbonneau
I'm just going to review all 3 books here instead of individually because there is nothing special to share about this series. The first one I really didn't care for but I read the last two because I was curious to see them progress and just rented them from the library. After finishing these books I can honestly tell you they were the least creative, most formulaic books I've read in 2015. Heck...even 2014. Let's be honest, Hunger Games set the stage with Y.A. Dystopian literature, so it's hard not to correlate books of a similar genre to them. However, this series felt like a cheap knock off version of Hunger Games that I might find at a dollar store. This is like a fan-fic gone wrong and I did not enjoy them. The events and characters were just too fantastical. The main character knew everything, could solve everything, and was bloody damn perfect in every which way. There are just many things wrong with the writing style, plot, characters, structure, etc. that I really can't recommend them at to anyone.
