I probably shouldn't have read this book given how much I dislike Emma Woodhouse, but I read it for a grad school assignment.

I will say that L.C. Rosen succeeded at adapting Emma by Jane Austen, because his main character, Emmett bugged me in all the same ways as her main character.  This book was not for me, but I would recommend it for readers looking for a contemporary romance with elements of grief and a diverse cast of characters, as well as people who love Clueless.
