Snowed in for Christmas
by Jaqueline Snowe
thank you so much to netgalley and grand central publishing for providing me an eARC in exchange for an honest review!!
——⭐️⭐️⭐️✨——
becca fairfield is a sorority mom who has not had much luck with dating. guys tend to think she’s too quirky, blonde, or just too much. so, she’s left dating in the past to focus on her job as a sorority mom. it’s now the holidays, and there’s a blizzard on the way.
when the blizzard arrives and a window in the sorority house is still not fixed, her hot neighbor invites her over to his house, because he has more firewood, hot water, etc.
unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), this is the same neighbor whom she went on a date with, shared a kiss with, and then was ghosted by two years ago.
so, what happens when their feelings become more than apparent during the snowstorm?
what i liked:
-cozy vibes
-hallmark undertones
-blair
what i didn’t like:
-not much, tbh
-harrison’s brother
-miscommunication
tropes/representation:
-one-bed
-forced proximity
-miscommunication (ugh)
-blizzard!!!!!
i liked this one!! this was such a cute and cozy read and perfect for a little “christmas in july!” if you’re looking for a fun, christmas-y read, look no further! once again, thank you so much to netgalley and grand central publishing for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review!!
