The Stopover by T.L Swan
⭐⭐⭐

This was nearly a 4 star, but just fell short.

I have always been of the opinion that smut and spicy are very different.

Spicy = story > sexy
Smut = sexy > story

This definitely started out as smutty but about halfway through the story became slightly more complex which I enjoyed.

So we start with a one night stand after a flight to New York needs to stopover in Boston. Simple enough. Then we jump forward and our MC, Emily has got her dream job in Media firm, Miles Media, and has moved to New York permanently. Only she soon finds out that Mr One-Night-Stand is in fact the CEO and things begin to unravel from there.

I did like the story. It was definitely 50-shades like with the Man of Money, always in control, bossy sort of thing and the woman who won't "submit" to his demands. There was a lot of back between the 2 characters and I found the chemistry was real between them.

Yeah, so I liked it. Not a 5 but a very high 3 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
