"A question of Holmes" follows Charlotte and Jamie as they take summer classes at Oxford after high school. Charlotte, of course, takes on a case. They're also trying out dating for real now.

This was a shorter one, but I liked the change of scenery from the US to the UK, I liked that we followed the whole case from Charlotte's POV and got more of a view into her head. I found the case interesting enough, and I really enjoyed seeing Charlotte's and Jamie's attempt at dating, as well as Charlotte living with Leander.

The ending was... bittersweet and I did not expect that. I expected parts of it, as there were many hints towards it over the course of this book, but others took me by surprise. I'm too sad about those to confidently judge objectively if I find those writing choices to be good or not, but the overall reading experience of this book was good. I liked it.
