I did this is as an audiobook which is read by Patti herself for a very intimate feeling experience. The downside to the audiobook is I wasn't getting the photos referenced, but I enjoyed doing the homework of listening to artists mentioned in between listening to the book, and looking up the photographs and artworks as they are created. This was such a deep look into this very specific time and place in the NYC art scene and a beautiful description of the Patti and Robert's evolving relationship. At times it felt a bit name droppy and if I wasn't familiar with a particular name I was a little distracted, but overall a very unique, honest, and interesting read if you are interested in the 70's music and art scene.
