My Demon of Fire by Rosemary A. Johns

This book was good in the sense it had a fast plot that kept you entertained, fairly good world building though I would’ve liked to learn some more about the underworld politics (why are the demons at war with the gods, what is in the contract between humans and demons etc.) there’s a lot that could have been explained further to give a more in depth read.
In terms of characters I absolutely adored Sol he’s such a sweetheart, how could you not love him? But I almost found Blue to be too rebellious which I never say about female characters because I love a bad ass FMC. But she kept getting into trouble trying to stand up for herself and Sol it just ended with him having to suffer punishments for it, and she never learned.
Over all it is a quick fun read that keeps you entertained with the fast plot but it could have used some fine tuning in the plot and world building so that it didn’t seem like we were missing gaps in the story or the background info.
