of twists and new information given that made me not want to put this book down! I was confused when the book would flip to the past until more information was given and then I was able to put the pieces together. Darcy, the female lead, was a lonely person who grew up in an orphanage was thrusted into this weird town because she was in the will of her father’s. I was on a rollercoaster of emotions as she met characters and had feelings for different people but also trying to figure out who she was and who was lying to her. This book is a lot to handle but it was an amazing book! I loved the love story behind it once I understood it. The turn of events to find out who Darcy and Amon truly were was the outcome of a rollercoaster ride of a plot. I could not put this book down because I wanted to know the truth about Darcy and Amon. My heart went out to Darcy and Amon because everyone is against them in this book. I laughed, cried, was heart-broken, and also fell in love with the characters and their love story. The spiciness is just icing on the cake of this story between Darcy and Amon. I would definitely suggest anyone curious about this book to pick it up and read it!
