The Theory of Death by Faye Kellerman

3.0

Having read all of the previous Decker/Lazarus books (and loving them), I felt this one lacked the usual polish and smooth dialog between characters they have always had before. The relationship between McAdams and Decker seemed more antagonistic than was necessary, and it was hard to tell if it was meant to be joking or serious. I found many of the conversations unbelievable and at some points annoying. Overall, I am a huge Faye Kellerman fan, but this one felt a bit forced and not as good as her past work. If 3.5 were an option, I would have rated it that.
