Take Mexican Gothic, make it better written, and crank the creepiness up by a factor of 10. This is a story about ghosts both literal and metaphorical, and the house itself is old and has a long, long memory. This book also features a slow-burn romance built out of longing glances and builds to a really satisfying finale. What fun!
