Cloud Girls is a literary fiction that follows Sammy and Nico on a serious, heart breaking, eye opening journey of trafficking
I don't want to give too much away with this. It definitely deals with heavy content. There were parts that were hard to absorb. There were nights, as I read this that I'd go sit in my kids' rooms watching them sleep, completely in awe of my love for my children and filled with sorrow at what the world is like that they have to navigate.
This isn't my normal genre, but I enjoyed this. I felt so many emotions while reading this. It felt raw and real. I felt for Sammy and her home life. I mourned the loss of childhood for Nico. I didn't want to rush this read, I wanted to sit with the content
