Wow! This one was surprising, especially with how long it was. I don’t tend to read long books, but I was intrigued. I’m not gonna lie, the first 50% was way to freaking long, took me twice as long as the end half. However, the found & real family was adorable. Everyone so supportive and nice, there wasn’t any cattiness or pettiness. You felt the love between Julien & Isaac.
I also really appreciated how emotions and mental health were handled. Men were aloud to feel things other than anger, help was recommended and pursued. Victims were believed and backed, something uncommon in this world. Overall, great story.
P.S Our Julien has insane undiagnosed ADHD. It’s adorable how everyone accommodates him without really trying. Also, the way Isaac calms him is sweet.
