Second Grave on the Left by Darynda Jones

4.0

Can't believe I waited so long to read the second book in this series. Though, I'm actually thinking thinking about holding off on book 3 until closer to time for book 4 to come out.

Moving on, everything I loved about the first book is back in the second: Charley (who is shooting right up the list of my favorite female book characters), her interactions with her friends and family and the dead, the book's humor, and a compelling mystery.

Reyes...I still don't know about, and it was especially hard to get a handle on him in this book, because while a huge chunk of the story revolved around him, and he did make appearances, he was rather enigmatic. I'm curious as to where the author is going with him.

Anyway...I guess we'll see how long I can hold off on getting the next book in the series. Knowing me, probably not long.
