Silence by Natasha Preston

5.0

This book deals with trauma, abuse and a secret. Silence. Oakley couldn't talk, but nobody knew why, except for one person in her life. She hasn't spoken for eleven years and she doesn't see that changing until she's faced with her trauma and abuser again and realizes, she can't stay silent any longer. This book left me with a pit in my stomach, chills and tears. I couldn't stop reading, I had to know what happened. I was kept on my toes with the anticipation of learning what happened.

"It was strange how total silence could mean so much."
