I, like many I'm sure, am reading the Bridgerton series because of the show. And for the first time in my life, I gotta say that the show is better. I am not sure if it is just because I saw the show first or what.. but I much much prefer the show. My biggest qualm with Daphne's story is the scene in which she forces her husband to do something he has clearly expressed he does not want. I did not like this in the show, nor in the book. It is gross and unnecessary. Both the show and the book would be better without that.
