 I previously enjoyed Megan Goldin's The Night Swim, so I was eager to explore more of her work. Unfortunately, Stay Awake didn’t quite resonate with me. While the premise held promise, the execution fell flat in my opinion. The plot felt overly drawn out, even though the book itself isn’t particularly long. Additionally, the mystery lacked the intrigue needed to fully hold my attention. It wasn’t a bad read by any means, just not the right fit for me.
