I didn’t care much for the opening chapters (rich white guy goes on a holiday, sees happy poor people and gains enlightenment).
The rest of the book hooked me in well enough. Phil Knight doesn’t come off looking great, so I appreciate his honest self reflection.
I wasn’t left with a good model for running a business, but I have come away with some ideas about things I want to learn and do differently.
