A Thousand Broken Pieces by Tillie Cole

ughhh i wanted to like this book so much more than i did. don’t get me wrong, i sobbed throughout the whole thing. a thousand boy kisses was such a beautiful tragedy and i expected more from this book. the first half was amazing. genuinely really really great, but the second half just slowed down a lot. it was still the healing process of course but there was zero conflict at all. like it just felt boring. and because of the lack of conflict the pet names and lovey moments felt more so cringey rather than cute. i don’t know. this just lacked a bit for me because of how slow the story had progressed. i kept waiting for something to happen and finally when i thought there was going to be a fight in their relationship, savannah was regretting her anger immediately. i don’t expect a relationship to be toxic! i don’t want that, but this was just too perfect. i did love runes cameos and his relationships with poppy’s sisters. that was easily one of my favorite parts of this story.

QUESTION: Did travis and dylan end up together? is that what the epilogue implied??? i really hope so!!!
