The Switch by Joseph Finder

3.0

I listened to the audiobook so I don’t know if reading it would have made a difference in my giving it 4 stars instead of 3. Overall, it was a ok. The premise was a bit shaky, but I followed through because I really wanted to know how Finder planned to bring it all together. I felt like the first 3/4 of the book was much better than the end of it. I listened to the last two hours on 1 and 3/4 speed. One character, with a fake “southern accent” talked sooo slow that I literally screamed! lol!

The last two hours became redundant and he had Tanner hiding out waaay too long. Not sure why Finder brought so many characters in towards the end because it became confusing and it wasn’t necessary. Also, the ending wasn’t as satisfying as I would have liked.

I gave it a 3 because it was entertaining enough to listen to and it kept me occupied during my 10 hr round trip drive over the holiday. But it’s not one I would recommend actually READING.
