Traumatic as are the happenings in this book, I could have devoured it in a day if given the time. The writing style and split perspectives made this an enjoyable and easy read.
Cordelia and Hester are two very different women who come together, along with some friends, to defeat an evil that nearly destroyed them both, Cordelia's mother, Evangeline. The plot wasn't anything super complex, and the ending felt a bit rushed, but overall, this book was quite an entertaining read.
