City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I re-read this for Emma Booksโ€™s 2018 The Mortal Instruments read along. ๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™ve read it once before, years ago & before Iโ€™d even heard of/joined Goodreads. I saw the boxset of the first 3 Books in the series on offer on Amazon U.K & thought they sounded good-The rest is history! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I really enjoyed getting back into this series in Book form. ๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™m up the date with the T.V show & I enjoy that too {in a different way}-But obviously the Books are more detailed & the original story is quite different, in many ways.

In this first Book I love the world building & development of the story & characters. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ But Iโ€™m not into Clace eclipsing everything & everyone else & Clary being a pain in the ass sometimes! ๐Ÿ˜ But I think that certain aspects of their behaviour are now not that relatable & childish to me, a 31 year old {theyโ€™re Teens-Mostly 17}! ๐Ÿ˜… I went through all that shit years ago, thankfully! ๐Ÿ’ฉ But hey, I still like YA/NA Books/T.V/Films! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ
