In book one it picks up right where we left off in her vicious beast the novella. is on the run. From her father, from a forced marriage, and from her MATES.

Charged with a crime she didn't commit, she's sent to an academy for feral beasts that’s like a prison that teach feral beasts how to be civilized.

And who is she locked up with? The very men she's been avoiding her whole life.

Five rejected mates with secrets, tortured dark past, and for some reason, they refuse to communicate with each other, which is very frustrating. When savage did what he did to finally be with Aurelia I was screaming FINALLY! even if it got 🩸. But then ughhh lots of screaming at Aurelia lol

We meet three of the five mates through out the novella and book one. And meet a fourth mate for a bit. They’re all savage beasts in different ways and of different species. It’s so much fun the tension, cat and mouse/ tug and pull aspect but also frustrating feeling the tension I was just yelling at her to give in the whole time!

And when she finally did but only to turn away again!!!! I’m so frustrated I can’t wait for book 2 because I know eventually we will get our HEA and I’m dying to know what happens next and meet her 5th mate! And maybe Aurelia can finally lean on her mates and trust for their help instead of making things harder! 

Loved the different animal personas and this animalist beats urge they’re learning still to control.

Such a unique world building and i devoured this! I listened to this read thank you nerd family and the author E.P. Bali for the audio version! The voice actors did so amazing it really helped pulled me into this world further and I found myself sneaking off during work to listen to more it was so addictive!

The deep voices of the men with their growling and beastly ways was top notch! 

With a full cast to keep me on the edge of my seat! 

Narrated by Maeve York, Ty Dunslow, Oliver Highpoint, Jonathan Waters, and Sean Masters. Fantastic job 😍🔥 

I think I already said this but 1000% recommend the audio
