Lucky in Love
by Kasie West
So I think it's time for me to maybe stop reading Kasie West books. Or, at least, her contemporary romance ones but I don't think she is about to write out of the genre anytime soon (pivot point remains my absolute fave from her so this saddens me).
It sort of sucks but I really feel like her stories have gone downhill, in my opinion. In this one, the plot stressed me out. Maddie drove me insane and like nobody forced her to see a financial advisor right away? Because an 18 yr old with 30 million means NOT being financially responsible and I was cringing all over the place. Apparently these things stress me out.
Also we did not get enough Seth and their relationship. First "date" was like 80% into the book. The biggest reason I love fluffy fun contemporary romances is the build up and I honestly saw like no chemistry between the two which was a bummer because I feel like Seth was such a great character!! Missed opportunity.
