Hard Pass by Sara Ney

I really, really wanted to like this. I usually enjoy romances where the guy isn't conventionally attractive and the heroine gets to know him and falls in love. However, for that to work, the hero has to be a good guy, and Noah is a big ol' jerk face.

Seriously, he is so unbelievably nasty to everyone. He complains about his best friend throughout the entire book, even though the guy does favors for him and tries to fix every terrible thing he does. In his inner monologue, all he does is say snarky things about everyone and whine about things that happen to him. And when he finally is forced to spend time with Miranda, he barely talks to her and everything he does say sucks so bad!!! He's such a self-absorbed jerk! How could any woman fall in love with this man? He never even shows an interest in her! Why is she attracted to him? It makes no sense. Their relationship goes from barely talking, to the most awkward date ever, to making out, to kind of breaking up, to happily ever after.
