I had previously read "Today, Tonight, Tomorrow" by the same author and actually enjoyed it, so I thought I'd try this one. Sadly, I hated the writing in this (it felt juvenile and amateurish at times), and hated the main character, which made the reading experience a super annoying one as we were, unfortunately, inside her head. She's, to put it mildly, insufferable. I also couldn't feel any chemistry between the main characters and therefore didn't believe in the romance, they felt more like best friends throughout. The 1.5 stars are for the male main character and the actual plot idea of a time loop, as I thought it was a creative idea for a romance that we don't see often. I also think the ending was abrupt despite the pacing of the book being quite well-balanced, which made no sense. Could've used a couple more chapters or an epilogue.

Specific issues I had with the book (with Spoilers)
★ Full descriptions of clothing/outfits straight out of a fanfic (example, "my underwear with donuts" or "my mom was wearing a graphic tee with jeans")
★ The main character's humour is stupid, all she does is make people uncomfortable and use sexual jokes at weird times and calls it being super funny
★ Despite the author being jewish herself, I feel she makes quite a few comments that spread harmful stereotypes of jewish people
★ There's a scene where the main character gets super excited and emotional over a flash mob.
★ Another time she thought it was silly and quirky to go around her university with a cape made of tied t-shirts "spreading mischief" LMAO
★ Some miscommunication scenes or situations where the FMC would get angry out of nowhere with other people? She's a very selfish and self-centered character despite the author trying to sell us a self-aware girl boss.
★ A lot of unresolved plot points in my opinion. What happened to Lucie? Miles' brother? Cole? We got introduced to all these characters to add weight to the main characters' stories but ultimately all their storylines went nowhere.
★ FMC horny at weird, innapropriate times/situations. Also, when the fade to black sex scene did happen, she was suddenly uncomfortable with her weight after spending the entire book being body positive and maintaining that she didn't care about her weight, which made no sense for her character arc.
