misspalah 's review for:
I read some reviews before I read this book. Truth be told, not many people like him or his book. I am Not sure whether they are part of global warming deniers or workers of exxon Mobil or both actually. I just can't fathom it but I'm going to ignore them and go on with my review. I watched "the inconvenient truth" documentary back then in 2011. I was pretty much late. The documentary is part of my class activity for environmental management course back then in my university. After that, I have followed every little thing that related to the environmental management. While some might get skeptical with Al Gore and doubt his intention, I dare say that there are younger people out there who are watcing the film and suddenly feeling interested in doing something to save the earth. That's my post effect after watching that film and I'm sure I'm not the only one. This book spoke the truth, exposed the lies, explained the misconception and defeated the skepticism that has been long existed in people's mind. Global warming is a threat to humanity as much as terrorism and war but why aren't we doing something to prevent it? Why are we still sitting and pondering that whether it's true or not? How many proofs do we need until one day, it's too late and regret is the only thing left? We should noticed it by now how every year, the temperature is rising and it's getting hotter each year. Well, what should we do about that?
