Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan

2.0

This book was an OK read for me. it wasn't a "Can't put it down" experience.
The premise was good. The characters so so.
Maybe if they have been 18 at the time of the ship massacre and not 14, it would have been better for me?
We have kids that are 14 years old professing love and... I just couldn't.
Not that at 14 you can't love someone. It also does feel serious at the time. But, they all had pretty strong feelings that I just didn't buy it.
Libby and Shepherd. Frances and Greyson. At least Libby knew Shep for years.
Frances knew Grey for 2 weeks and had these feelings.
Grey's father (from what we saw) was so one dimensional.
There was a lot of talking about how Frances/Libby positioned herself, her goosebumps, breath and breathing, etc...
2.5 stars.
