wow.
i have been a big fan of Liselle Sambury since her debut blood like magic, so i knew i had to get an arc of her latest novel. this was amazing. this story follows two characters, daisy and brittney, one girl who sees dead people and one investigating what really happened 10 years ago to daisy and her family.
it’s not a very fast paced novel but i did not mind at all. the author took her time to dive into the characters past traumas and feelings that influence their current behaviours. this was very spooky and creepy, and sometimes disgusting but i was so intrigued. there was a major plot twist i was not expecting that kept me on my toes.
this book does deal with a bunch of difficult topics and themes so i highly encourage anyone who wants to read this to check them out first. this was an amazing psychological thriller! thank you to netgalley for giving me an arc in exchange for an honest review.
