I read this for a Facebook book club where we read and discuss 80s teen fiction. I devoured these like they were literal food as a kid. What I didn't notice at the time: all the grown ups are garbage and there is rampant misogyny. I'm only giving it three stars because in this one, Elizabeth basically turns into Jessica and reading about two Jessicas was just too much. I missed my earnest Elizabeth!
