Darius the Great Deserves Better by Adib Khorram

Darius and his family deserve a big hug. This book is a great example of what diversity & inclusivity could and should look like. I have always believed that YA literature tells some of the most important stories and this one in particular did not let me down, tackling mental health issues, consent, xenophobia, and so much more. It did not give into tired tropes and I am glad that Darius realized he deserved better. I would love to spend more time with this character.
