i have a love-hate relationship with wuthering heights. emily brontë really succeeded in creating characters that are so unlikeable, messy, and miserable! it’s hard not to feel frustrated with them. but at the same time, i adore the quotations from this book; they’re so raw and haunting. sometimes, i wonder if people really interacted that way back then. and nelly! i absolutely love her
