I listened to Hide by Lisa Gardner. Detective Bobby Dodge is a Minor MC and Detective D.D. Warren is more the MC in Hide. Annabelle has moved every 18 months to 2 years all her life. She doesn't know exactly why, but thinks it's all bc she received a locket when she was 7 from a stranger. Both her parents are gone now, and she has decided to move to Boston. Detective Warren calls Detective Dodge one morning before 4, telling him he needs to come to an old mental hospital. He's not going to believe what they have found. Does this have to do with their last big case? Why did Annabelle's family move all the time?
I enjoyed this book, but I would have liked one thing to be wrapped up better. I'm not going to say what, bc I don't want to spoil it. I read this series years ago and decided to go back and reread it. I know I dropped off reading, and I'm not sure why. So far, I'm really enjoying it.
