The Girls' Guide to Dating Zombies
by Lynn Messina
3.5 stars.
This book kind of completely ignores the possibility of having meaningful, loving, sexual relationships with other women, but other than that glaring oversight it was very enjoyable.
Let’s have a quick thought experiment:
It’s date night and you’ve just put on a cute outfit. Would you rather meet up with:
A) an unthinking, grunting creature that is in the process of decomposing
B) someone you can talk to and connect with
You’d think the answer would be B every time, regardless of the sex of that person, but apparently not, according to this book. It seems it’s more important to have a potentially decaying dick than a thinking mind. (Yikes.)
Just had to point that out, it’s a bit of a plot hole. Or rather, a bone to pick with the entire premise.
