This book is MESSED UP. I went into this blind and as the story progressed, I was thinking there would be some kind of redemptive arc…but this is one bleak ending. However, I loved the story and the writing…ended up feeling like this was a five star for me. I would be interested to see if it’s ever developed for the screen.
