Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff
Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.
Two reasons:
1. The story being told within a story and having multiple timelines took away a lot of the momentum rather than built suspense.
2. The dialogue was extremely cringey, it was too quippy/edgy and just didn't land for me.
The world building and prose was awesome but just couldn't keep me hooked.
