this is the first Colleen Hoover book I've read and oh my goodness I cannot wait to read more of her work.
this book shattered me from the inside out and left me crying for longer than I care to admit. it was such a powerful book that puts you in the shoes of a domestic abuse victim without even noticing, and it made me realise just how hard it can be for a victim to leave an abusive relationship. as if the actual book didn't make me cry enough, the author's note just sent me over the edge.
I couldn't put it down, an 11/10 book.
