The Stand by Stephen King

3.0

This was my first Stephen King novel. I thought this one would be less terrifying because it's a clairvoyant memoir of 2020, to some degree.
The first book was mainly about the progression of the superflu disease.
The second book and third book was about the post-apocalyptic lifestyle of the survivors, who are immune to the virus in the book. The survivors formulate individual parties or groups and try to overthrow a supernatural ruler while managing some internal battles.
I thought it would be more enticing than it was. Finishing it felt like a success, given how long it was.
