THIS BOOK KILLED ME. HOW COULD YOU BE SO CRUEL TO MY FRAGILE HEART SCHWAB?? As much as I love this book, the ending was too devastating and heartbreaking.
I love this last book. I love Kate and August!!! HOW CAN YOU NOT? Kate being such a strong and charismatic character and August being a little soft at heart and at the same time has the monster in him. Damn, can you even not love them?
I would also want to point out how Riley and the gang from Prosperity were just kicked out of the book. lol. I mean, I'm not a big fan of theirs but putting in extra characters would make me think that they have some use on the final events but then.... yeah. They were just *poof* gone. And left me wondering wth even happened to them. Um, did I just miss it in the book?
Also, I love the writing style and the plot of the book. Monsters being born out of people's own violence? Damn that's straight out cool and unique. With a city like Verity, I should've known that this book won't end with a happily ever after. BUT STILL. OH GOD MY HEART 💔💔💔
