I think I’m in love with Lucy Score’s books. This was such a cute slow burn, grumpy sunshine, workplace romance. I loved both Dom and Ally, and it made me feel all sorts of sweet feelings. The Devil Wears Prada Vogue-esque workplace setting was also *chef’s kiss*. Not five full stars because, while I love that the FMCs/MMCs in Lucy Score’s books I’ve read so far are older (in their late 30s or 40s), they’re still so immature and emotionally stunted sometimes? (Especially Dominic in this book.) I only joyfully
make it through her books by pretending the characters are younger. And, also, the book was very long and could have done with a bit of trimming overall. THAT SAID, I really enjoyed it a lot.
